Accommodation in Swellendam
Situated just outside Swellendam, Breede Bush Camp offers dome tented accommodation on the Breede River banks. Private and secluded, our self-catering bush camp accommodation provides an ideal getaway for those who appreciate nature, or simply want to relax in tranquil surroundings.
The Breede Bush Camp hosts one group at a time exclusively. The campsite can sleep 8 people at a time. There are 4 tents, with 2 single beds in each, on wooden decks.
Bedding and towels are provided. Firewood is provided (2 x bags). Cooking utensils and cutlery are provided.

Our private and rustic getaway
In keeping with the secluded, yet comfortable, feel of the camp, there is no electricity. Lighting is provided by solar powered lights and battery operated lanterns, while the fridge and hot water geysers are gas-powered. Further ensuring the rustic atmosphere is the lack of cellphone reception, although you can pick up a signal 200 metres from the camp. While the nearest shop is 30 kilometres away, our isolated bush camp remains a safe, private destination.

Prices from R350 per person – 4 to 8 persons – minimum 2 nights per weekend.
